“Malhar” as a metaphor of physical exercise

Abstract This research seeks to contribute the understanding of problem motivation regular practice physical and sporting activities. To do so, we analyze metaphorical use word “malhar”, which, in Brazil, is associated with exercise. One hundred ninety four people participated “free association method”, by saying from one three words or expressions that came immediately their minds, inductor term “malhar”. We also conducted ten interviews. conclude there a correlation between professional performance education investigated. The demand for produces negative (unconscious) affection operates body as force (tiredness, discouragement, suffering).
